Sarah Herbert is a certified Stroller Strides Instructor
Bio: Hi! My name is Sarah. I am a mom to an 8 year old girl, 5 year old boy, and a baby girl.
I first heard of Fit4mom in 2016 after having my first child. As a first-time-mom with PPD, I was too intimidated and anxious to bring my colicky baby to a class. In hindsight, I know that’s exactly what I should have done.
While pregnant with my son in 2019, I attended my first Fit4mom class, Fit4baby. I knew that moving my body and being part of community were important for my mental health. I forced myself to attend classes and felt the benefits. I started taking Stroller classes as soon as I could at 6 weeks postpartum. I left for about 6 months during Covid and returned full-force in August 2020. During that time everything was on Zoom. I participated in daily classes, RunClub, multiple Body Back sessions, and Body Well. I was so happy when in-person classes returned, even with face masks! Eventually, my 2 kids aged out of stroller classes. After much deliberation (ask my husband), I left Fit4mom in January 2022.
Fast forward to today. I had a baby in September 2024 and 2 months later saw that Fit4mom was hiring. This was the perfect opportunity for a few reasons. First, I’ve considered becoming a fitness instructor countless times throughout my life. Second, I am the President of the Marlton chapter of MOMS Club. MOMS Club is an international nonprofit organization focused on “moms offering moms support.” Fit4mom combines both of these passions. Third, I would be a part of Fit4mom again! I am back with a baby and ready to Stroll!
